Inspection Information

Every order that arrives at the FansBuy warehouse goes through a quality inspection before it moves on to storage or shipping. Our professional inspectors give each parcel a visual once-over so you can spot obvious problems early, while it is still easy to raise an after-sale request with the seller. This article explains exactly what the inspection covers, what it does not, and how to get extra checks when an item matters to you.

What the standard inspection covers

The free inspection is an appearance check performed when your goods reach the warehouse. Inspectors compare what arrived against what you ordered and look at the outward condition of the item, including:

  • Color and overall appearance
  • Large areas of visible damage or defects
  • Stains or contamination
  • Size, model, and version number against your order

As part of the free service, inspectors take quality-inspection photos and, for arrivals such as electronics, send you a picture to confirm the product before it continues through the process.

What is not included

The check is visual only, so some things fall outside its scope. Minor color difference between the photos and the real item, small size errors, and how a product actually performs in use are not treated as inspection faults. For electronic and digital products, inspectors examine the exterior and accessory presence at a glance but do not power the device on or verify that every accessory is complete. If a detail cannot be verified, and there is no obvious damage or contamination, it is assumed you have reached an agreement with the seller.

Special photo and video inspection

When you want more certainty than the standard three-photo check provides, FansBuy also offers paid special-photo and custom video inspection services. These are useful for higher-value items, complex products, or anything where you need a closer look at specific details before shipping. You can request them on the order, and the exact options and any fees are shown in the app at the time you order.

If something is wrong

  • Review the inspection photos as soon as they are ready, while the window to negotiate with the seller is still open.
  • If you are not satisfied with the result, you can request after-sale service through the order.
  • If goods are found unfit for international transport on arrival, the order is specially marked to remind you to arrange a return or discuss options with the seller.

The inspection is there to catch obvious issues, not to guarantee a product's function or exact appearance. For anything performance-related, confirm details with the seller before you buy, and reach out to FansBuy support through the app if you are unsure about an inspection result.
