Optional parcel insurance
Fansbuy Insurance is optional and must be selected before shipment. Coverage runs from leaving the warehouse to first delivery in the destination country; it does not guarantee compensation for every incident.
The current policy covers eligible total loss, documented irreversible customs seizure, transit damage and missing items. Exclusions include taxes, fines, false declarations, incomplete recipient details, prohibited goods and fragile items without extra protection.
The policy lists a maximum of RMB 10,000 per parcel. Compensation is limited by insured value, declared value plus shipping and actual item value. The standard premium is listed as 6%; some routes differ and checkout prevails.
For damaged or missing items, submit a report within 3 days of delivery with a complete, unedited unboxing video and photos. Keep the original file. Electronic-product claims have additional video-service and power-on evidence requirements.
